The standard 2.3L EcoBoost® 4-cylinder engine has 300 horsepower and 310 lb.-ft. of torque, while the available 3.0L EcoBoost® V6 engine with Auto Start-Stop Technology outputs 400 horsepower and 415 lb.-ft. of torque. Get the most out of your 2024 Ford Explorer, which has a maximum towing capacity of 5,600 lbs. that can be achieved when you equip your vehicle with the Class IV Trailer Tow Package and make use of its Terrain Management System™.
