The F-150 also has the leg up in the fuel economy department, as this trim level allows for 18 MPG while in the city, 23 MPG while on the highway, and 20 MPG combined. This trim level of Silverado gets you 17 MPG in the city, 22 MPG while on the highway, and 19 MPG combined. The Silverado holds an overhead valve drive, but the F-150 takes advantage of a dual overhead cam valve train. The standard transmission for this F-150 is a 10-speed featuring sport mode, while the Silverado employs a 6-speed transmission.

 

The 2018 Ford F-150 Lariat SuperCrew Cab comes with a vast host of features that are not available in the Chevrolet Silverado Custom Crew Cab. Take the premium radio that is available for this F-150, for instance. This feature is not available in this trim level of the Chevy Silverado. The leather seating that comes standard in this version of the F-150 is unavailable in the 2018 Chevrolet Silverado Custom Crew Cab.
